Les potica (gâteau roulé au noix) et les štruklji (pâtisseries fourrées) sont des incontournables, et un repas traditionnel au restaurant local avec des spécialités comme le jota (ragoût de chou et de haricots) vous coûtera environ 25€ par personne.

L'architecture de Bled est un mélange harmonieux de styles. Le château médiéval surplombant le lac est un joyau architectural. Les maisons traditionnelles, avec leurs toits pointus et leurs volets colorés, ajoutent une touche de charme.
